I decided I wanted to get into pool and so I called my friend who also played professional. well my introduced me to his friend and we just so happen to be highly attracted to each other and dated for 8 mo. Well the friend who introduced us got jealous of me going with his friend ( my ex )and is no longer my friend. NOW my ex who is also a pool player obviously doesnt want to run into me nor do I him. But I dont want to have to be restricted from going to certain places because I might run into them. but the places where they go are the best place to go. Id like to be able to be friends with my ex so maybe this wont be a problem someday... but right now we are not even speaking. I want to be able to do the things I wanted to do before I got with this guy. I wish I never did, and just stayed friends with my other friend. What do I do?

Look for another place where you can play pool. Let some time pass then go where your ex hangs out. Now it's to wierd////
herself Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 He knows you are aware of where he hangs out so not only will it delay your healing to see him, it will also look desperate and obvious your showing up there knowing the chances of a run in. Find a new hobby & maybe stay off the bar scene for awhile and set new goals, find out what your made of and who you want to be. Continuing to run into your past, especially intentionally is not the action of someone trying to move forward. Who cares where he goes, find new places now. Not same old, same old. 2
