nickgroce Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I was watching a movie(yes i know its fake) and this guy and girl were with each other for over a year. They were dating and everything was going great. They were intimate, didn't have a lot of fights or arguments and out of nowhere the girl broke up with him saying, something along the lines of, "i love you but you are too good of a friend, yes you are my boyfriend, but you are also my friend and i don't want to risk losing that, so i think we should stop seeing each other" Ummm can that really happen?
SunnySide0418 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I would interpret that as she isn't in love with him. I've never heard of that happening although am sure it has..
jcrew11 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Well, its sometimes easier and less expectations when you are just friends that don't live together or see each other daily. Hence, why casual sex works for guys because they don't want to put the effort into relationships and keeping a girlfriend "happy" 24-7. If the fighting and living together got really bad, then its not worth keeping the relationship going. Sometimes its just easier for "divorced couples" to be friends when they no longer have daily expectations or rely on each other for emotional support or calling every day to check in. Girls can get really needy and demanding, if a guy "isn't pulling his weight in a relationship."
