I'm just trying to wrap my head around why men do things like this.

 

Why would a man say he knew his relationship wasn't gonna work from the beginning but end up proposing to her?

 

Is it just a front for the general public? Are they really happy with their partner? Are they just fooling themselves? Are they just settling?

 

I'm confused.
