SadNLonley Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Instead of thinking about all the great things you miss from your relationship, lets think of negative things about it. Things that would drive us crazy or things that we wished they would do that they didn't. Things we want in a partner that was just missing. Maybe it will make our day a little better to realize in our messed up sad heads that our relationship really wasn't perfect. ..My ex was not a very good kisser ..The man could eat eat sandwiches every day for lunch and dinner ..He didn't know how to cook, and I dont really enjoy it, so I was always stuck making the meal, and it used to drive me crazy ..He was kind of wussy. If he got a splinter in his finger, he would moan about it for days I'll think of more later, but thats a start
Hoosfoos Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I wrote a list of how my ex hurt me during the relationship that ended up being 2 pages long. Despite this, I miss her with every fibre of my being. It is not a good place to be.

I love the title and after a breakup it is the most important thing to do. I think far more productive ways to make yourself feel better can be found. Such as 1)Getting a massage 2)Going to the gym 3) drawing yourself a bubble bath 4) playing an instrument (if you play one) 5) Reading a book (etc.) These sorts of activities will remind your very body on a very physical level that you are worth being taken care of. I know how hard it is to do when you are hurting, but it is vital to your healing.
erklat Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 What about if you see someone else's horror story and end up thinking your x was great after all?
