terminus1256 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 So I met this girl yesterday on public transit. Struck up a conversation about the book she was reading (one of my favorites) and we hit it off from there. We talked the entire ride (about an hour) and a little bit afterwards as we were walking off from the platform. Found a lot of shared interests and even discovered we went to the same undergrad college. My question revolves around how to proceed from here. She had to leave in a hurry because her ride came and I didn't have time to get her number. She did add me on Facebook afterwards through mutual friends. I don't know where to go from here, as this is the only avenue of communication that we have at this point (no real chance of us running into each other). Any advice would be appreciated.
Targetlock Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 As you don't have her phone number, use Facebook to instead and message her, maybe ask her out? like about how you felt the great time was cut short and you really would like to see more of her or something good luck.
Author terminus1256 Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Ask her out on Facebook? Won't that be a bit weird? I figured I should talk to her a bit and then try to get her number, but wasn't sure how to go about it. Thanks for the reply though, maybe you're right...
d0nnivain Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Do NOT ask her out on FB. Like a few of her posts. Sent her a few chatty PMs. After about a week PM her & ask for her phone #. Also post something about your upcoming plans . . . going to the game, heading to the library to study . . . whatever. . . see if she shows up. If she posts something like that, you show up.
