What are some cute/sweet things your girlfriend/boyfriend does?

There are the more common ones...I haven't opened a car door in six years.

 

I like it that he always holds my hand in public and gives me a quick kiss every so often.

 

More unique between us...he usually brings a couple fresh pieces of fruit, special chocolate, veggies, an organic snack when he comes over. Little things that I enjoy eating. If I casually mention some little thing like a movie or song, he will track it down somehow. I always appreciate his effort.

Methinks most males will not cross into this conversation since it has the words "cute" or "sweet" in its contents. I know my gentlemen friends absolutely "Cringe" when those words are used....I think its in their handbook on being a man... I laugh when they say "Ummm...we don't do "cute"...." (nor do they say "adorable") .

 

One day I hope to get a copy of this secretive male hand book and read all their do's and don'ts

Does this pertain to old married people too? If so, I will just list the ones she has done lately. Otherwise it will become a tome.

Laundered and folded my cycling workout clothes and put a post it on them that said, You are the road, dominate it, crush it, fourteen miles, no pain.

Gave me an entire body massage and rubbed my feet for an hour with oil because I seemed tense.

Had my truck washed and detailed so I wouldn't have to do it this week due to training.

Plenty of shower sex since I come home sweaty, exhausted and dirty and she doesn't want me falling asleep on her. (Maybe that is for both of us.)

Came to my MMA fight even though she thinks it is violent and mean...yes, those are her words.

Made me snickerdoodles even though it isn't the holidays because I love them. Plus she worries I am getting too skinny...

Yeah, I haven't cared what other men think of me since high school. She is definitely cute and sweet.

My guy never hesitates to tell me he loves me or misses me just randomly throughout the day.

 

He always has a bottle of my favorite wine waiting when I come to his house.

 

He listens to my ramblings about nothing and pretends we're having a really interesting conversation. Like when shopping in Target on the phone with him and I start complaining how the bottles of bleach keep getting smaller claiming "ULTRA SUPER DUPER CONCENTRATED" yet the price stays the same. He'll give some great response like, "Are you f'kn kidding me?? G**damn price gougers! Unreal babe!"

 

Cute Texts:

Me: "Hey!! Buckethead!! Love you."

Him: "Buckethead??"

Me: "Yes!"

Him: "Why?"

Me: "Cause I said so, that's why!"

Him: "Okay baby."

In addition to the usual (every morning he wakes me with tea, a kiss and a cuddle etc) he brought me honey and lemon for my cold, ran me a bath with herbs, warmed a nice fluffy towel and gave me a slow, deep massage, warmed my clothes, made a roaring fire and settled me on the chaise longue to work from home while he went in to the office. He left lunch in the fridge ready to heat, and a tray with hot drinks ready to go, and a huge pile of chocolate. He has sent several loving texts, in addition to the notes he left on the fridge, kettle and pinboard, and he loaded my iPod with a special playlist in case I feel well enough to work out.
