She had a nasty break up a few weeks ago, a lot of her friends turned nasty towards her, it goes on and on. I was texting with her last night, making sure she was doing ok and as we were both about to go to bed she texts "Thank you so much Chris. I love you." I was a little taken back when I saw it because she's never said anything like this before. I haven't really thought that way about her in the past and now I'm not sure how I feel... And I don't even know how she meant it. Ladies, would you straight up text that to a guy you were just friends with? Or was this her straight up sharing her feelings for me? Really confused and could use some help.
mukkrakker Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Your reading too much into it - she's grateful for you stick by her through hard times. It's an expression. If she said it to a girlfriend would you think she was come on to her? No, of course not, at least not in a text!
