vieve Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) So I met this guy online about 4 months ago, but over that time we've only gone on 8 dates. Granted it was holiday season when everyone is busy, but now that it is over I will still only hear from him every other week or so, and we only really talk to make plans for the next time we will get together. When I am with him it is great, he makes plans for us, takes me out, tells me he missed me and all that jazz, but then I am left wondering where he is when he doesn't contact me for a while. He does have a lot going on with work, volunteering, and cannot miss a single football game, but if he really liked me, wouldn't he get in touch a lot more? Is this normal? I'm trying my best to give him space so as not to push him away, but I'm not sure how much longer I can take this relationship this slow. Edited January 29, 2014 by vieve

BC1980 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 He's not serious. He's just dating you casually at best. If you still want to give it a shot, don't accept all of his offers to go out. Only allow him to initiate it, and definitely date other people. I don't feel good about it though. He doesn't seem like he wants a commitment. 3
