meisa Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 There is this girl I like. We’ve met last summer but we only went to a few dates (average is probably once a month or even less). This girl says she likes me, misses me when I am not in town and things like that but it’s a bit hard to believe. She’s always busy (work or family mostly) whenever I ask her out. When she agrees, she often bails. We haven’t even had sex yet. Every time i invite her to my place she has some excuse. When I drive her back to hers, she never invites me in. Say back in November I asked her out a few times, and she always turned me down (busy with work). Then I stop asking so she sets up a date, mid week. The day of the date of course she cancels. We reschedule for the weekend, and cancels again. Then it was Thanksgiving, and as if nothing happened she invites me to go meet her family. I didn’t go, but isn’t it weird? Now we are back to square one. I asked her out a few times over the past weeks and nothing. Then I decided to give up on her, and after a few days she sends me a long email saying she wants to see me more often than we usually do, she is not avoiding me, etc. How do I make progress here (we are both almost 30, so no we are not in high school)? I realize from my description she might seem some sort of devil. Actually, she is very shy, sweet, brings me little gifts those rare times when we see each other.. Also, for those who might suggest dating other girls, I’ve been dating/sleeping with other girls in the past few months. So I am not completely hung up on this one. It’s just that I like this one more and I would like to either move to the next level or get her out of my head
