ShreyaD Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 My ex has already moved on to his new gf and it has been a while but I can't seem to forget him. I know he isn't coming back but there is still a hope in my heart that he will. We weren't together for very long so I'm not surprised that he got over me quickly but I fell for him hard. We aren't even friends anymore and he practically hates me, because I confronted him about lying to me. He did lie and I did have pretty good evidence. I need to forget about him and move on but its been months and he still lingers in my thoughts every single day.
Philosoraptor Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Ok, he's rebounding and "winning" the breakup. You're only "losing" because you worry about what he is doing rather than focusing on making your own life happy. Once you start focusing on your life, your happiness, and where you want to go from here... you will begin to forget about him. But until you put your focus on the present, and off the past, you will linger in this state. 1
Onmymind Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Who broke up with who? Also if you were able to successfully confront him on a lie and he breaks up with you anyways, you don't need someone like that. You need someone who is at least willing to try to work things out for a while . The weak people are those who don't even give the idea of fixing the relationship a shot and who decide to just throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble. Stay away from those people! You're going to have residual feelings for a while, but in time you will realize they dissipate and eventually wither away.
Discover Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Try to live in the present..day by day..try to enjoy yourself and the company of others and that of your interests..and always have in mind that there is someone better waiting for you...
