with Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Ex broke up with me a month ago and still wants us to be friends but he still acts like we didn't broke up. I asked him if he still want me back because if not i will let him go completely. He told me he doesn't know. I am now ignoring him. Then he started flirting with the women i hate infront of me and looks happier than before. I think i just feed his ego with that question. Anyways what does his actions mean?
PegNosePete Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Who cares? He clearly is a selfish and manipulative person. Why would you want him back? You should ignore him and move on.
soccerrprp Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Ex broke up with me a month ago and still wants us to be friends but he still acts like we didn't broke up. {He's confused or he's manipulating you} I asked him if he still want me back because if not i will let him go completely. He told me he doesn't know. {He's keeping things unclear so that you stick around while he decides FOR HIMSELF what he wants from you. This also frees him from making any commitments to you} I am now ignoring him. Then he started flirting with the women i hate infront of me and looks happier than before. {He is showing you just how manipulative and pernicious he is. He knows that it would bother you and so, flaunts his ability to manipulate you. He's acting like the muppet master pulling the strings on his puppet- YOU.} I think i just feed his ego with that question. Anyways what does his actions mean? {He's a jerk and not worth your time.} Answered within the body of your post. 2
Author with Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 He started to ignore me now too but he stands close to me when talking to my friend and always walking behind my back almost touching me. It hurts when i se him. Why can't he just leave me alone.
Author with Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 Ex bf broke up with me but still acting like we never did. I asked if he wants me back. He told me he doesn't know and he can't even take care of himself then told me he needs to analyze things. Now we are ignoring each other at school but he lways walk behind me almost touching my back and stands close to me but not talking to me when talking to my friend.
TaraMaiden Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I can see my thoughts becoming very rude, so here's what I will say: Tell him in no uncertain terms that you will NOT be hauled around on a string. Either he reels it in, and you're a couple, or he cuts ties and quits messing with your mind. He can't have it both ways - or indeed, all his way. he can't break up with you, then continue acting as if nothing has happened. take the initiative: Distance yourself and do not put up with his childish behaviour. Tell him to man up, grow a pair and make his mind up, but you're not prepared to sit there on a back-burner, twiddling your thumbs while he takes all the time in the world and is a jerk with it. Then, go No Contact. Read the link in my signature, and make every effort, as far as possible to stick to it. And that was polite! 3

It hurts when i se him. Why can't he just leave me alone. NOW he is milking it for all he can. He is now in full manipulation mode and actively trying to hurt you. He knows this. He's getting back at you for ignoring, playing the silent treatment. He is not worth your while...
Author with Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 I don't understand why he wants to hurt me. I've been good to him. I took care of him when he's sick, helped him pass his remedials, encourage him when he's down. He's so sweet and caring at first but it only lasted forabout 3 months and started taking me for granted. He started giving more attention to other girls acting like a perfect gentleman. That's why I got jealous, i confronted him he started making it my fault then broke up with me. He's my first love so I'm having a hard time moving on when I see him everyday. I wanna forget him and he's not making it easy for me.
TaraMaiden Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Neither are you...... This is the second thread in as many days....
guest572 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 You did the right thing by ignoring him. He broke up with you, he made his decision.. If he is unsure now then not your problem! He can sit on the fence all alone. Its a shame that you have seen his bad side but now that you have, you are better off, keep thinking about his flaws. I am sorry to hear you are having a tough time dealing with it, I hope things improve soon.

OP I've been there with the genders reversed I know how it feels trust me.You know what to do now if you want to keep your pride and walk with your head held high.
