I'm asking because my boyfriend's brother used to have a crush on me, but we never dated or were friends. I didn't know they were brothers, and at the beginning my boyfriend's brother was a little uncomfortable around me.

He may have grown past those things which caused him to crush on you, and the uncomfortable feeling was more a memory of the crush rather than an actual crush. There's no real way of knowing though, without getting inside his mind.
