RowanRavyn Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 You of Faerie dust and dream, Beautiful child who would give light of day and light of night to complete darkness. (For they could not well compete with the glow that radiates from your sweet face.) Oh you you you! I fret for the truth that lies behind the mask of that which dares to touch your sweet heart. Tumbled and taken to flight will your wings still bear you upward when this Fae's game is finished? She with her kiss has wooed you into games that we would think cruel (hidden behind her mask of seeming delight) Yet this is just her destiny You can not change it Faerie child. When the glittering dust has settled against the ink black sky And you sleep on a bed of angel's tears We will cover you with our warmth And lift your wings to dry Knowing that just beyond the edge of your light waits one who would quietly lift you toward your greater self. Groovy Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Hi Rowan, nice poem. I have written some too..... YOUR NO BUTTERCUP Hour after hour You've got the Power To fill me Up But your no Buttercup For Your Mind Leaves you Behind And all we have Is Bump and Grind You can make me Cry And Satisfy In my Thighs That Rise As You Pound And I am Bound To this Love On the Rebound On this Merry Go Round That Goes Up and Down Down and Up Your no Buttercup BENNY Years Ago Lived a Love that was So Worth too Much to Hold The Stories Been Told It Contained so Much It was Hard to Touch It Could Bring You Tears of Joy and Pain Rarely did it Wane It's Colors Both Dark and Bright It was quite a Sight To Hold it One had to Be Strong And Not use it's Powers for Wrong It Still Lies There Following You Everywhere Deep In You and Deep in Me I see it's Face I shall Embrace
