I was just wondering whether any of you guys have ever hypnotized someone?

No worries, i'm not up to anything sneaky :-)

That was a good link (very funny)......hahaha!

But honestly I do believe in being hypnotized (spelling?). I think it's very possible, I think both people have to be serious about it, and open minded, and be able to focus their attention, energy, and mind on what's being done, be able to block out ANY and ALL other thoughts, sounds, ect.

I have never personally done it or had it done to me but I've read a lot about it, and had a friend who under went this to quit smoking (she had smoked for 7 years) and claims she doesn't have cravings and quit cold turkey, she has stopped for over a year now.

So I do believe it is a great possibility, as do I believe in out of body experiences and astro projection (which I have personal experience with). Do you know about this or have you heard of this?

I don't even dare to forward the link to people!

I think that people who don't know what they are doing ought not mess with this sort of thing.

I probably agree! But still quite curious whether a normal person can hypnotise someone else!

Well, if a highway can do it, why not joe-blow off the street! LOL

Barby! Someone else interested in astral projection! That's so cool. I have been interested in the subject for a while, and have projected twice before - the first time unintentionally, the second time with much trying. What made me so interested in astral projection & OOBE is the fact that I have experienced Sleep Paralysis consistently for several years (extremely strange & scary), and I believe there is a link between astral projection & sleep paralysis.

Some of the feelings experienced during sleep paralysis are the same as those experienced while you are slipping into an OOBE state: a buzzing feeling throughout the body, namely. However, sleep paralysis is extremely frightening, and has worked two ways for me. On one hand, I am more aware & better able to project, but on the other hand, the experience is scary and out of fear I am unable to allow myself to slip into projection.

What are your experiences with it?

As far as hypnotism, I really know nothing about it, but I am curious to find out if anyone has any experiences with it & how it's worked out for them. I'd be reluctant to trust someone to hypnotize me, as they really have you under their command while you are under.
