Hello

So

Half a year ago I met this girl "J",she was the friend of a girl "F" i had an eye on...

Immediatly there was a kind of "clic"

next day she sent me a friend request and invited herself and her friend at my place. I didn't know her but i was thinking about her friend and said : ok.

We had a nice afternoon and that afternoon i suddenly felt this girl was like really special. next weeks she gave me a lot of attention and I met her and her friend one or two more times. Everytime it was like we knew each other for years etc. We laughed, danced, talked a lot and it felt always awkward when one of us left.

Due circumstances this period ended with a few months without contact without real reason. She had some mess with her ex, I had some other **** to deal with.

So some weeks ago we met each other again and it seemed again as if we knew each other since forever. We started to have a lot but really a lot of contact. Daily a lot of chatting, saw each other a few times ( she has exams right now so she doesn't get out a lot)

But I felt like i was very in love. I'm 27 now, had a few "long" relations but I have the feeling I have never been in love like this...

Last week she did send me messages like: i can"t wait to see you, i wish you were here...

So this saterday she was coming over to my place. We never used the word date. Because that was the only time she wanted to leave her studying mode the last month, her friend "F" invited her self...

For me that was a bummer but I have no idea what "J" thought about that.

So we had some nice chatting the three of us, and went to club. After half an hour, me and "J" decided to go home.

I asked her if she didn't want to have a last drink at my place and she said she was just planning to ask.

We started talking and laughing and suddenly it was like 5 AM, so I said she could stay to sleep and she said ok.

But I don't know if it's because she doesn't want anything or because we were to shy or uncertain but we both slept on a couch in my living room.

The day after she stayed untill the evening and we had a great time but she had to go to go studying again. When she left she gave me an intense hug and she left.

She gives me a lot of compliments and asks a lot about my life.

I'm pretty sure she likes me a lot but i can't estimate what her purpose is.

Is this how friendzone works? or are this just two people who are too shy to try something?

It sounds like SHE is waiting for you to make a move... Unless of course that you come across as like a female best friend to her. I would suggest upping the touch a bit and see how she reacts.

Do you have a bed? Why would you sleep on the sofa? I would have just said "you can share my bed if you want" or something to that effect. It sounds funny but it worked for me once with a "friend".

I think you should just make a move.

From past experiences I can tell you that this definitely ISN'T the friend zone.

Quite on the contrary, everything she's done leading up to this point to me are clear indicators of interest from her perspective.

I agree with Lansing. Right now she's just waiting for you to make a move.

Do not waste this opportunity while it's still possible to progress. :)

I agree with the others that she is likely wanting more than a friendship. I'd suggest asking her out on a real date, and then on the date let her know that you find yourself really attracted to her and that you feel like you really click with her and would like to take her out again. She'll probably accept.

Friend's don't sleep on the couch together. However, if you don't make a romantic move soon . . . you are already about 5 1/2 months behind schedule (since you have known her for 6 months) . . .you will end up in the friendzone because your lack of romantic overtures will squash her libido & she will lose the ability to see you as a BF. You will become the guy she talks to about other guys that she does want to date who also want to date her.
