Mariposa10 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 It doesn't make me feel sad anymore. I feel a little bit melancholic though... I see that your breakup was very recent. Hang in there, things do get better Me to so sad..

John83 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I choose the songs that help me not by the words of the songs instead i play songs that remind me of a very happy period life. That said some of my favorite feel good songs are bruce springsteen - dancing in the dark beach boys - good vibrations hollies - carrie anne billy joel - uptown girl hermans hermits - im into something good Small faces - lazy sundays probably a few ive forgot, will dig up playlist when get computer back off ex 1
lord-christoph Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Even as a metalhead things like Nsync's Bye Bye Bye and Gone helped. Keith Urban's You'll Think of Me helped with my getting my pride back, cause from what I've been told, it is inevitably true. 1
saltyfishhead666 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Mine was roar by Katy perry. I don't really like her music but that song came out when I was feeling alone, rejected and hurt. That was my "you knocked me over but I will get back up and be stronger" song and even my signature several months later
mantlefan Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I know the OP mentioned it, but (and this is coming from a 24 year old straight male), Cher's "Believe" is quite possibly the best moving on song ever.
mantlefan Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Also, "Hemorrhage" by fuel. Reminds me of what my attitude should be if she ever comes back, and that I can start moving on now because if she comes back, I would be crazy to try again.
Mondmellonw Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I don`t mind if you forget me. Morrissey. Oh, Morrissey or The Smiths! 2
Haydn Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Why do you come here When you know it makes things hard for me ? When you know, oh Why do you come ? You had to sneak into my room 'just' to read my diary "It was just to see, just to see" (All the things you knew I'd written about you...) Oh, so many illustrations Oh, but I'm so very sickened Oh, I am so sickened now Oh, Morrissey or The Smiths! 2
