Lona.loba Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I have a long distance boyfriend from newzealand he's in my dream Hello I had this weird sort of creepy dream today and I wanna know what it means . I had it today which is two days before my boyfriends birthday . My dream begins" my family lives in an old house near neighbors also living in an old house, my boyfriend lives with the family beside us although he's not from my ethnicity or nationality ... That next door family wanted revenge from my family .. So cuz my family wanted to god rid of all that revenge thing and stuff they decided to kill me ( revenge started in the dream cuz my family killed someone from the neighbor family ) I'm the middle girl of three, an older brother and a younger sister . Though my siblings have no existence in my dream . So I ran away cuz they wanted to kill me both families . While I was ribbing they were following me with guns .. While I was running I saw my best friend since elementary school and she told me that I must die .. I ran to a plastic urgety place to change my looks so both my family and the neighbor family won't kill me or find me ... While at was at the door of the plastic surgery place my boyfriend was there . He hugged me and kissed me and held me gently in his arms then stabbed me with a knife in the back and I died" What does my dream mean ??

First of all, just some information you might not know: 1) the dreamer is always the best interpreter of one's own dreams, even when some guidance is needed in recognizing symbols 2) even if you have no clue about symbols in the dream or what represents what, what can really help is detecting your feelings Now, I can try and guess, but it's just a wild guess. You're transitioning in life, your life is facing big changing. Maybe you feel you are growing up, or leaving (part of) your past behind. You feel external pressures and the need to be a different person. In your eyes, your family is trying to kill your old self. If - as I understood - you're an only child, you were maybe used to being spoiled and the little kid in the family. Things are changing. Getting older? About the role of your boyfriend, in the dream you trust him just to see your trust abused. You see him as kind and nice, and wouldn't expect him to hurt you. But did he really hurt you? Or is it just that you perceive him as part of those external pressures? At this point, you need to analyze your feelings while the dream unfolds. How did you feel when you got to know they wanted to shoot you? How did you feel when you were trying to escape? How did you feel when you saw your boyfriend? How did you feel when he plunged the knife? etc.

It's obviously it's not literal but it is not good. When I met my second boyfriend, I had a literal series of dreams only TWO DAYS after we met and mind you my first boyfriend never cheated on me so I wasn't paranoid about it. Here's how it went: Dream night 1: He cheated Dream night 2: I cheated Dream 3: He cheated Nine months later, THAT'S exactly how it played out! And I have dreams all the time about stuff and a lot of times it comes to pass or it reveals stuff to me symbolically. I would sleep with one eye open with this guy. Sounds like he might be up to no good unless subconsciously are worried about him doing something crazy and it plays out in your dreams.
justwhoiam Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I'd say your siblings are in a neuter zone, while you get some pressures both from your boyfriend and your parents. I'm not sure if it's the same kind of pressure or different. Maybe different? You parents wanted to shoot you, while your boyfriend stabbed you. You feel good with him, but hurting's just around the corner. It might be just your gut feeling, and/or originating from something that has happened. Anyway, all in all, you are uncomfortable with them, somehow.
