that tonight is not a good night to call because she is about to go to sleep??????

She is going to sleep at her age on a saturday night at 11:30pm? You know after just getting this text I don't even want to get to know her anymore because she just sounds like a flat out weirdo. Damm she couldn't lie and say she was out with her friends? So instead of talking to someone on the phone she responded to on craigslist, she would rather get under the blanket and go to sleep?

If that's not the stupidest thing i ever heard

I think you're extremely overreacting, just take a breath.

Seriously?? I didn't realize it was a standard requirement for 26 yr olds to stay up till 3am just because its Saturday. Is she not allowed to be tired at 11:30 at night? You'll probably be doing her a favor. Maybe you should try a phone call during more reasonable hours. OR...maybe she just doesn't want to talk to you?

I'll take a girl who goes to sleep at 11:30 over one who's out at the club with her girlfriends looking for a random dude to grind on any day of the week... Maybe she has church tomorrow and has to get up early.

Think I'll follow her example.

phone during reasonable hours??? We were emailing back and forth from meeting on craigslist. So why was it a issue to upgrade the communication to phone?

She better hope I don't meet anyone else tonight lol

OP - why is this bothering you so much?

Because

1. she responded to my ad

2. she looks good

3. it's 11:30pm on a sat night

4. we are both home

I don't know many 26 year olds who are going to bed before midnight on a saturday night

Those are reasons you want to communicate with her.

But she has every right to not communicate with you. Once you accept that, you will be ok. By getting so upset and worked up over this, you are giving her POWER over you.

Is this for real?

It is really odd that you are perturbed by a women in her 20's going to sleep before midnight on a Saturday.

I have enough friends but I don't go out and get drunk on a Saturday night.

In fact, I prefer men who don't go out to clubs on the weekends; they normally prefer casual sex, sleep with a higher number of women and are typically lower quality in my eyes.

As I said, I don't go out on a Saturday night. I am back at college, just turned 27, don't have the cash to blow on drinks that cost twice as much (as you can buy them from at he bottle shop)

I prefer a night in with my friends watching a DVD, having a few drinks/glasses of nice wine, and crashing on the couch.

This thread is ridiculous and slightly humorous.

I'm 23, and I'm in bed before 11:30 most nights, even Friday's and Saturday's. If I'm up past that, I'm probably studying because I'm in med school. Or I might be at a post-exam party, but that's like once a month. Heaven forbid people have a life.

I'd say give the girl a break, but honestly it sounds like she's better off without you.

I prefer people who have too much of a full life to warrant the late nights every weekend... I mean, surely studying, reading books or having to get up at a reasonably early hour on Sunday, is a better way to spend your life than partying it up every Saturday?

I didn't really enjoy the times I went out on a Saturday night only to have to sleep all say the following day with a nasty hangover.

So the OP wants a "normal" 26 year old, who has a lot of "friends" who she spends her Saturday nights with?

I guess if us losers aren't partying with our friends every Friday or Saturday night we must be missing out:lmao:

Maybe she is just a nigel no friends:lmao:

No. I am a night owl. But I am often in bed by 10 and I chill in bed. I wish I could sleep BEFORE midnight, it is just because I am a long standing insomniac that I cannot; I WOULD sleep by 10 pm if my body would let me.

Or I watch scary movies with my boyfriend when he is with me until 2 am ish.

But I have enough friends and yet I prefer to spend my weekends relaxing at home with my boyfriend or having a quiet dinner and DVD night with a friend or two.

Everybody's body is different. I'm 26, and I cannot function without a consistent sleep schedule. Staying up all night messes up my circadian rhythm. I actually work for a living you know.
