dearestpie Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) I've been talking to my friend's roommate who lives in New York (I live in Texas) for about a month now and I suddenly find myself picking out things that are wrong with him (his hair, his singing, his slight lisp.) I have always been attracted to him ever since I first met him, but about a week ago we confessed that we had feelings for each other and now I can't stop finding flaws. He is the sweetest guy and has been treating me better than anybody has in a long time, and we have so much in common, why do I feel myself wanting to pull away? Is it the lack of physicality? TheRealistGuy Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I've been talking to my friend's roommate who lives in New York (I live in Texas) for about a month now and I suddenly find myself picking out things that are wrong with him (his hair, his singing, his slight lisp.) I have always been attracted to him ever since I first met him, but about a week ago we confessed that we had feelings for each other and now I can't stop finding flaws. He is the sweetest guy and has been treating me better than anybody has in a long time, and we have so much in common, why do I feel myself wanting to pull away? Is it the lack of physicality? Let keep things very simple... think about your relationship with this guy... "What do you want?" Answer that question in a very straightforward way.
gaius Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Who wants a super sweet guy that treats you well? Especially one with a lisp. Yuck! It was probably the fact you didnt have him that attracted you. Now you've conquered him and there's nothing left to be attracted to. It happens.
