But did lose to someone else. We got along great, I was competing I was in the run up! I was probably even in the finals. And I lost. Ouch. She was such a nice woman too. We would have been great, she didn't want me to know she liked me and tried to keep me as a friend all without ever letting on. I figured it out with some hours of thought and some information I gathered. It hurts pretty bad to lose out on someone so awesome. And I lost a good friend too. Finally ready to accept my loss now that I understand everything. I did okay, we were a great match he was just a bit better. Should say that for her it's not the dating it's the compatibility. She wanted to fall in love not just date. And I fell in love instead.

I can relate to this entirely...I'm pining over a woman who just sees me as a friend...hard position to be in...

She didn't always see me that way. She decided not to talk to me for a while but I sent an email telling her she should have trusted me more. I'm a grown man I can take rejection. I expected her to be more mature with me about it.
