katiep Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Hey guys, I'm just looking to get some opinions. My ex boyfriend and I were split for 6 months due to a deployment. He came back to the US about three weeks ago and we have very recently reconciled. I'm just wondering if I should treat this like a new relationship (Sex brings out a lot of attachment feelings for me so I always wait a few months into in a committed relationship) or what? I don't know if this matters or not, but he contacted me and asked me to be in a relationship again. We also both still love each other. I guess I just want to be cautious. Would having sex put this reconciliation in jeopardy in anyway?
Mariposa10 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 If you don't feel like having sex just yet, don't. Listen to your gut. There will be plenty of time to have sex in the future. Take things slowly. Good luck! 1
