When your SO said they needed space, and they come back--what do you do? Do you accept and discuss everything, or tell them thanks, but no thanks.

Any SO said they needed space, but didn't come back?

well, my ex said she needed space, i gave her and within 2 weeks she came back. i accepted her, then she ended things again, and it happened another 2 times.

be sure they take enough time to think about things, space is good to think about things logically not only by emotions. if u think the space they took enough for them to make their mind then why not. first discuss everything and see what happen.

but it must be enough space, not 2 weeks like what happened to me.

good luck

'Needing space' is the equivalent of 'taking a break'.

Both mean "I want to end this, but I'm too much of a coward to be the one to stop this right now."

It is very cowardly when it is two adults talking, along with giving false hope. Who needs a coward, right?

Exactly.

Never tell anyone you need space, when you mean, "I think this is over, or sadly, I believe it is for me."

Be honest, be tactful and be up-front.

Don't apportion blame, but just be dignified, and finish it.
