brokeNlost Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 It been 4-5 months since my breakup and I have deactivated my facebook since then. I think I'm about 90% over the breakup. I got to the point where I can view my ex's facebook with hew new bf and not give a damn. But I don't know if reactivating my facebook now is too soon or will it be a setback or not? Anyone with experiences want to share some wisdom with me? thanks
chris21422 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 No bro.. the point that you are asking here means you are not ready for it yet.. Give it more time.

Anyone with experiences want to share some wisdom with me? thanks I did the same thing when the break up happened (around 6 months ago) I instead chose to close it entirely for good and begin a fresh. I didn't want to go through the sappy comments and messages deleting them. xx
carl777 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 You could just block her. Why deactivate your Facebook account?
Author brokeNlost Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 You could just block her. Why deactivate your Facebook account? I deactivated it because I was hurt when we broke up and tore me up when she immediately dated someone else..but now I really don't see the point of blocking her if I'm really over her.
TaraMaiden Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 It been 4-5 months since my breakup and I have deactivated my facebook since then. I think I'm about 90% over the breakup. For a more accurate figure, halve it, and deduct ten. I got to the point where I can view my ex's facebook with hew new bf and not give a damn. Describe "not give a damn". But I don't know if reactivating my facebook now is too soon or will it be a setback or not? For whom? You - or her? Anyone with experiences want to share some wisdom with me? thanks This is the best thing to do with a de-activated FB Profile: leave it precisely where it is.
deathandtaxes Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Why do you ever think it's a good idea to look at an ex's facebook account?
