So I recently lost my job and due to my husband only working part time, we came to the conclusion that moving out of our area is the best course of action. It is insanely expensive to live where we do, rents are going out of control with all the tech companies and stadiums coming in and there is no end to renting in sight. My husband and I are nearly 25 and 30 now and we'd like to focus on being able to put some money aside to buy a home and do the things we've always wanted before we think about having kids. To do this, we will need to have decent jobs. For what we get paid, we could make the same amount else where with the cost of living being at least 50% less. We've been unhappy for awhile now, living paycheck to paycheck for over 6 years. I'm depressed, because I feel like I should be further for my age and it sucks not having a job. But I look forward to moving away and being able to have a better quality of life now that we are both college graduates. We're staying with family until things improve, which also sucks for people our ages, but we don't have a choice since he only works part time and I'll only be collecting unemployment which is a very small amount.

Good luck with the move. Hopefully it's a sign that better things are coming.
