Its a new year. I see a lot of my friends here posting about unfortunate events, or things they wish they could change about themselves, their lives, etc. Some things you cannot change; death is inevitable, sickness and disease happens, break ups happen, you find love, you lose love, and so it goes... but what about what you have right now?

 

You HAVE love, you HAVE health, you HAVE friends who care, you HAVE food on your table, and a warm bed and/or couch to sleep on. There is SO much that we have in abundance, yet we bitch and complain about the mundane in life for what? To stress ourselves out thinking about what 'could' happen in the future? STOP IT! Seriously. Take 5 minutes RIGHT NOW, and think about what YOU have to be grateful for. Focus on that thought. FEEL that thought and those things you are thankful for.

 

Go with the flow of the Universe, and stop resisting. Everything in life is an experience, as they say, 'life's a journey'. YOU are in control. Start thinking positive, feel joy and happiness, feel LOVE in yourself and life. Law of attraction: Like attracts like.

 

For those of you who have a Netflix account, stream a documentary called "The Secret" filmed in 2006 (There is another movie called The Secret with David Duchovny and Lili Taylor... that's not the movie I'm talking about). Watch it... watch it every day if you have to, but follow its advice for 30 days. You can thank me later.
