youdunsay Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Just curious, for those of you who have married and still staying with your parents (due to some mortgage issues), do you invite your parents/parents-in-law to stay over (yes at your parents place since technically it's tough to find accommodation to stay) to celebrate your newborn child? How long do you allow them to stay over? A month? Note that the staying over parents-in-laws are from overseas so culturally there are some differences.
Author youdunsay Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 They are my silbing's parents-in-law to be exact. But they are using my room whereas I'm bunking with my parents, tentatively.
Author youdunsay Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 The thing is I think they have grown fond of the boy and they wish to stay another two or three months which means I have no room to my own. My parents want me to negotiate with my sibling's parents-in-law.
Solcita2 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 1 month is too much... 2 or 3 months is a HELL NO!
Author youdunsay Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Alright thanks. Thought I was overreacting. I thought it would be nice so I offer my room to them. But it's alright they have decided to move out. 1
