girlywoman25 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 The story is I found out from a friend that my ex has a new girlfriend and there was proof when I saw the pictures of him and his gf on facebook on her page. So what I did was I deleted him from facebook and instagram and his pics on my phone and he's number but then he followed me again on instagram and I'm not sure why

In the past when people would break up they would take all their pictures and momentos and put them in a shoe box and put the shoe box under the bed or in the attic or something. These days we have a digital shoebox. The problem is...our ex's have half of the pictures! So we ideally would like to keep access to those. You don't just stop caring about one person because you start caring about another. Nor is a break up ever really 100% clean and simple. Unless cheating was involved (and some times even then), people keep caring for a while. Is that so surprising? We declare undying love one day then the next week we want nothing to do with eachother. Is that normal?

Do a google search to find out how to block someone on instagram.
newmoon Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 he probably did that to hurt you, especially if it was a bad break-up. you're doing the right thing by looking to block all contact. if he doesn't get the message or tries to contact you/friend you other ways or through other sites, then you could reply somehow and ask him to not add you to his lists of friends anymore. it sucks that you now know he has a new gf - my ex and I separated 5 months ago and I don't think seeing the pics would make me happy. you're beyond the person, but probably not beyond the hurt and it's kinda mean for him to rub that in. :-(

I think as long I don't follow him back I won't see pics of him and his gf. We broke up about a month ago
