purplesoccer34 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) I once messaged a friend on facebook that I met at a party, and we talked a bit. We actually had a nice convo on facebook that lasted a while, but after a certain point he stopped responding. I messaged him again a month later, asking what he's been up to, and he said, "sorry for not responding to the last message, things have gotten so busy lately. Would you like to get dinner sometime? I'm looking to make new friends in the area." We went to dinner, and a few days later I casually texted him saying that we should meet up another time. He said, "yup, definitely" and that's where the conversation ended. Neither of us has said a word to each other since then, and this was in October. Recently, I just sent all my friends a generic "happy new year" text which ended up going to him as well. Other than that, we haven't spoken at all. I don't know why I'm getting this feeling, but if I were to send him another text asking "hey, what's up?" or maybe a better conversation starter, like telling him that I went to the museum that he told me to check out, would I come across as a psycho that's obsessed with talking to him? I think I'm feeling this way because I'm the only one who has ever initiated online/text conversations with him--but he did initiate the whole dinner meetup thing. I want to make clear that I actually don't have an interest in this guy--I just want to be his friend because he was really cool and super-fun to talk to, so I also don't want him to get the wrong idea. But I feel that maybe I am giving off the wrong vibe. What do you think? Wow, I'm so sorry....I didn't realize I posted this in the wrong section Edited January 13, 2014 by purplesoccer34
Haydn Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I suspect you are interested in him.......But you have put it out here, up to him now. He can read the signs.......Just sit back and wait, (But not for too long) Good luck. I once messaged a friend on facebook that I met at a party, and we talked a bit.
