I heard a woman brought her kid on a first date, why would she do that. if she did that to me ID END THE DATE. I want to score a date ok! and kids dont belong on first dates.

Maybe she just wanted her kid to have a free meal too.

I'm with you.

 

1. She is using the child as a means to create distance/space and excuse not to get close

2. She couldn't find baby-sitting

3. Surely the guy agreed to this, right?

4. She is using the child as a litmus test for guy to see how he behaves, reacts

5. She is whacked.

6. ...and related to #1, distance/space b/c she is not really interested in having a relationship and wanted a free meal with child in tow (cynical possibility)

she couldnt find a baby sitter is NO EXCUSE! what of babysitters, kids grandparents, the kids father.

hey, I'm not disagreeing with that. if the person really wants to get to know you, he/she will find someone to watch the kid. just giving possible reasons and not being able to find someone to watch one's child is possible and legit. I've been in a similar situation where I couldn't find someone in short notice. It is certainly a possible excuse.

or are there some mothers that dont have anyone to watch their kids, if thats the case she is NOT READY for a boyfriend.
