lastking Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 We broke up seven months ago but she contacted me a few months ago and convinced me to go with her to a counselor. It turns out she didnt want to get back together in the first place. We had another visit yesterday and the Ex GF decided to end the relationship (it had ended 7 months ago). I said fine, we can remain friends and she declined remaining friends insisting that I shouldnt contact her.I am sure she has a new boyfriend thats why she is acting wierd but why wouldnt she want to remain friends after 8.5 years of being together. We are still linked on Facebook though.
polynomial Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 She has a new bf but went counseling with you?
barky2 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Reverse that question. Why would you want to remain in contact with a ex girlfriend? Barky 3

You found out it wasn't to get back together but still kept going as of yesterday? What was the point of these sessions??? And why do you want to remain friends with her? And why are you still connected on FB? This is all so confusing.

Yea...I reluctantly agreed to it thinking that since we had been together for that long, this may be a chance to resurrect the broken relationship. We remained connected on Facebook after the break up. I am still friends with her family. I thought about deleting them but I dont see the point.
Trapito Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Give her what she wants. No friends in real life = no friends on Facebook. Just block her. She has a boyfriends? She is stringing you along like a doormat. She is dangling carrots to make you bend backwards. Don't be a doormat, cut her out of your life.
