ReadySettyGo Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I need some insight into whether this is emotional game playing or not. After chatting with a girl on OLD I received this message... <ReadySettyGo> I think this will be my last week at eharmony not going to renew it. Text me 0413###### so we can catch up for a coffee. Have a nice weekend So, I text her the next day but receive nothing back (now 5 days later). I had a similar experience with another girl as well. The most obvious explanation is they are not interested..... by responding I am simply boosting their self esteem? On the other hand, is there is something I am missing here? Perhaps I'm clutching a straws but maybe someone can impart some wisdom.
Keenly Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Is your text something like " hey this blah blah blah just wanted to say hello and give.you my number " ? Or is it weird.

That is the oldest trick on OLD - "my membership expires...email me here instead, text me here, etc.

I replied.... Hi <Her Name> How was your weekend? Was kind of you to give me your number... thank you! A coffee sounds great I'm away next weekend so how about after work or perhaps the following weekend? <My name>
Author ReadySettyGo Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Are you sure they are real? In the process realised how discerning we should be when giving out our numbers. Found my number (and name) on the net as well! Edited January 10, 2014 by ReadySettyGo
