How long to wait to start dating again after a short relationship?

I dated a woman for about 3 months recently. While at one point we were spending nearly all our time together and I thought she might be the one. Unfortunately, cracks in the relationship began to appear about a month ago and the relationship was ended earlier this week.

 

I hate to admit it, but I maybe started looking around prematurely. I have already found a new potential mate. Would it be wrong to start dating someone else at this point? I really felt a sense of relief after breaking it off with the last girl. It doesn't really seem long enough to justify a recovery period.

3 months? Get back on the horse immediately! There's no need to wait, just go for it. 3 months is nothing, you basically had a friendship, nothing much else. Go forth, and enjoy. Good luck.
