Guywhosurfs Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Was invited to a NYE party, checked out the invite list and saw an unbelievably good looking girl was going so got quite excited. Get to the party and get chatting to her, thinking there's definitely a spark. A girl I had been seeing turns up unexpectedly though and I decide not to make a move as I don't want to embarrass her in front of her friends. Offer the girl a lift home as she lives near me which she accepts but then one of her friends turns up and gives her a lift instead. Whilst we live near each other, I haven't yet finished uni, whereas she has, meaning no chance of a date when I return after the holiday so I decide to try and squeeze in a quick date before heading back. Have a little bit of messaging on fb to which she replies quickly at first, and then doesn't reply for 3 days, by which time I've returned to uni. I don't know how to play this now. I don't wanna just let a girl like this go, but at the same time can't see long distance flirting for 3 months before going back home working. I also don't know what to make about leaving a 3 day gap to reply? I had assumed that she wasn't interested by that point so had moved on but it's drawn me back in and I can decide whether she's playing it VERY cool or not interested and simply being friendly? Any advice? Thanks.
MixedUpChick Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Did you tell her in any of your messages that you'd be leaving for 3 months? If not, you could try sending her a message now telling her you're away for 3 months & ask if she'd like to meet for a drink when you come back. Her response should tell you if she has any interest & you can decide what to do from there if she wants to meet with you when you return home.
