She is a very insecure girl who is scared of a relationship and personally I am not to find anything to serious right now but as time moves forward maybe making it official would be nice. Anyways I overheard from one of her friends that her type was something I def. was not? For example lets say a girls type are city african americans but I am a country mexican. We go on dates, have a good time, watch movies and cook together. How much importance is "type". Maybe in the beginning it holds huge significance but we have known each other for a good while and she has seen my personality and is still coming over to my house. I am just scared that when her "type" does come through, she will run out. Are girls that superficial? Just a rant on "types".

Chances are you will get hurt and not because of her "type" coming along, but because she is insecure and is scared of relationships... When someone tells you that you have to believe them. As usually people ignore it and troop on then later when this person ends it or sabotages it through insecure or other kinds of behavior, they are sooo surprised, when it's like no, but they told you and you knew this was a problem for them so why did you bother to get with them.

I am willing to risk it for her to take that chance with me. I just don't fit her "type" but we do get along very well
Thegreatestthing Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 You are right to think about it,I definitely have a type Slavic (Eastern European) guys only ,I only date them,I have been in relationships with non Slavic Anglo Saxon etc in the past and it was always bad,the only time I'm happy,fulfilled and very attracted is with Slavic ones,really so much more.just totally different culture,genes,looks,mannerisms,beliefs,approaches ,it can be hugely important. Maybe if there is love she can transcend the type,but for me when I have it has not worked at all. Also if she is scared,don't go slow or think you have to back off,I'm scared at the moment and can't say what I feel ,and the fear is of something going wrong ,so you have to assure her that you like her.
