Sugarkane Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 For example, At my old work a girl brought in her family and friends and took over the small workplace with her clique. I tried being friends with them, but they always left me out of everything, for no reason. They even bothered being friends with an immature co worker who bragged about getting back together with her abusive boyfriend. What gives?
darkmoon Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 not everybody likes each other, nor will they, I think you have high expectations, but look, this will happen again, nobody is married to each other, so some people do stay distant and have the right to do so
preraph Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I think it's usually bad when people get their friends or family working with them. I think it's a mistake in the workplace. In our office a couple of years ago, someone I do like got her really loser friend hired. Her friend is one of these people who hates everyone and is the opposite of social. She sat scowling at her desk day in and day out. If anyone tried to help guide her, she sulled up and ran down the hall to tell her friend. She fell asleep at work. This whole time, the friend is trying to keep her from getting fired by the boss, who she is close to. So she was there much longer than she should have been causing loads of problems. She finally did get fired and I told the boss I was so glad. 1
