Hi everyone.

Im currently in the NC periode day 20. And I have this weird feeling when im alone.. I starts looking at youtube movies about getting over an ex, getting back together and the psychological stuff that happens in the brain when u go through A breakup and stuff like that... And it makes me feel better.. but why?

Is it normal, that u just want to get some kind of answer whitout knowing it?

Anyway, the thing is that the only thing i want right now, is to be together with my friends and family and go to partys.

But when i can't do that, and im alone in my appartment, i can't find anything that i wants to spend my time on..?

So do u guys have any suggestion to what i could spend my time on, something that might helped you?

thanks in advance.

It's good to become content with ones own company and not always need a distraction. However distractions are good when going through a break up as long as you do grieve.

Read some self help material - become a better version of yourself

Decorate

Do some cooking

Clean

Do an online course

I do all the above and pampering aswell. But mostly I have gotten used to being ok with myself, my own company not all the time but a lot I am ok with it.

Get out of your old routine. Do something different. Take a class. Cook. Clean. Re-decorate. Exercise. Take a walk around your block.

What hobbies do you have? Indulge in them.

Exercise. Yoga. Mindfulness exercises. Doing things to discover yourself.

I totally agree. Exercise, just move your body, do some sports. Get your blood running faster through your veins. This is important to make you feel better.

Talk to friends, about anything, but not about your ex. Do not be alone too much in the evenings shortly after the breakup.
