For me I was over my last ex maybe still thought about him occasionally.

Since it's the New Year I've left him in the past 2013 for good and not looked back . The New Year was a way of having a fresh start.

 

Did the New Year help anyone else move on quickly from their ex?

I'm not moved on, but I was relieved that the first time I saw my ex with her "next" was before the new year. He was my friend, and she said she wanted to be my friend, and it was I think good to be able to start the new year pretty clear that that wasn't a good idea to try to keep that up for anyone.

 

 

I guess it's a good time to have a "first day of the rest of my life" moment.

A thriving effort to see clearly, along with a myriad of lectures and literature read, and self reflection is helping. Along with venting on several threads about my debacle here :)
