melell Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I wondered if anyone had noticed that the 'honeymoon' period doesn't last as long as we get older.
Philosoraptor Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Honeymoon periods get shorter as logic and emotional maturity grow. 1
Mrlonelyone Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Yes, the flip side of that is, as we age and learn what we want, we waste less time on courtship. A early twenties person needs 2-3 or more years to learn about themselves and as a couple. Now in my thirties I need at most one year to be sure , if the other person is also my age.
carhill Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 OP, could you describe what the 'honeymoon period' means to you?
