Should I text or just let it be

So I am not a 100% positive if this is the right place for the thread but it seemed the most relevant so here I go.

I went to a friends new year party. And met a girl there who was nice and all and gave me her number at the end of the night. I didn't ask for it she just told me to text her Happy New Year, so I did.

Anyways the next day she texted me saying Hi. We had a small conversation and that was that. I did not make an attempt to text again. Now I am just debating whether I should text or just let it be. The reasons I am asking are these:

- I am certain I do not want to be in a relationship with anyone for the time being. However I would not mind having a casual fling or FWB.

- She is fairly younger than I am and though that does not necessarily bother me but she is my friends cousin and I do not want to cross any boundaries, if there are any.

I can ask my friend if the need arises but I am not planning on saying anything if it is not going to go anywhere. Also I do not plan on deceiving the girl into thinking that I may want a relationship when that is not what I want. I am not fixated or very desperate for getting sex or company but I would not deny it either. Should I pursue the girl or just drop it as I don't have any relationship intentions?

Thanks

If you don't want to be with this girl then ignore her, if she texts you then tell her you are not looking for anything right now lets be mates.

If you want to be with her then go ahead and do it man it's 2014!

theres no need to deceive. if/when you see her just bring it up in convo 'oh man, ya, im not looking for a relationship right now, but ya, how about those Yankees?" or something.

if she freaks out, cries, etc, you got your answer.
