What 2 do if you're in a relationship when you could be moving down the line?

I really am confused

 

Apparently I know nothing about how women feel about love and sex.

 

I don't know if she should have or should not have known if she was in love with me after six months.

 

My thoughts are all jumbled and I'm trying to make sense of what happened.

I've known women who have been married 20 years of seeming love who when it ends swear it was never love and it was all 24 hour hell. While possible that's factually true, I doubt it.

 

 

SD, don't try to figure out why a woman falls in or out of love with you. It is chemical and hormonal and pheromone for both of you. Then your high brain fools itself in to thinking it was all a choice. literally the chemistry has to be right.

 

 

If it could be right for a while once, it can be again. There is a solid reason to hope it will be again. Perhaps the next one will be the one for you, or the one after that.

I haven't been in many relationships, but I'm pretty sure people don't start asking questions about marriage and kids till they are past the one year mark.

 

It depends on the people involved. We had the marriage/kids talk (obviously not concrete plans, just 'what are your thoughts on this concept?') at 22, within the first 6 months of our R. Others will differ, of course.

 

How do you talk about these things?

I just remembered something.

 

If I didn't go back home once I was done with school, I was strongly considering getting a job and an apartment in the city where she'd be going to nursing school. That way she would unofficially live with me.

 

She'd would have most likely stay at my place several days a week as it would be more convenient then driving back and forth to school and her parents house everyday.

 

That would have been my best case scenario.
