napy666 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I'm the type of girl who likes doing the anniversary thing for different reasons like "oh we've been talking for a week, a month, a year, etc." Except I don't know how to do it with this situation. This guy and I first talked on November 8, 2013 and November 9, 2013 then I didn't hear from him again until December 1st, 2013. So if I wanted to say him and I were talking for a month how can I when this situation happened? Do I count the day from November 8th or December 1st?
Keenly Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Careful, you have some dangerous man repellant there. This anniversary thing doesn't sound good. 1
emva07 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 ...is also the type to scare men away. I think that's too soon to celebrate an anniversary and be stressing this much about it.
spiderowl Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 It might be useful for you to be aware that not everyone thinks like this. I have had guys mention anniversaries to me that I was not even aware of. Some people live timelines and calendars and have every date in their life plotted somewhere in their heads; others drift along and only remember the really important dates like birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Honestly, if you expect him to think like you on this one you may be disappointed. Why don't you check to see if he is aware when you met? Frankly, I don't give a toss about dates apart from the major one so I'd be oblivious to it. Hope your guy isn't like me or you'd find it torture!
