OK heres my problem, When i moved to Indiana, i started dating this guy named Jeff , well he's black and i don't have a problem with him or any other black people, but my parents preferred me not to date him and all my friends told me to dump him and kept asking me when i was going to leave him. i dumped him and since that terrible day 1 month ago i have been wanting him back and i think i love him but i have no idea what to do let alone how, and I'm so scared because i HATE and I'm scared of rejection, MEN AND WOMEN WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS TO HELP ME PLEASE COMMENT BECAUSE I NEED MAJOR HELP, PLEASE HELP ME, IT WILL MEAN ALLOT.

but heres a question for the guys, if i was a gf and i did this to you, and its was because everyone told me to dump you , but i asked you back out what would you do???

Does he know why you left him???

 

I think it's a risk you are going to have to take. If you love him it's better to be rejected than to not know if he would have said yes and he was the ONE for you.

thanks alot naive_2001 you made me think and im gonna try your advice tomorrow in class,

but heres a question for the guys, if i was a gf and i did this to you, and its was because everyone told me to dump you , but i asked you back out what would you do???

at some point you have to make decisions that will make you happy. I dont think hes going to be too hapy at first.. Are you still friends with him?

 

You should take it easy at first ... i wouldnt expect him to just get together again like that but im sure he would be open to hanging out and friendship

 

But if you expect him to get back together with you just like that.., that in itself is a recipe for rejection
