Volthi10 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Why do people flock back to exes after years of breaking up. My ex and I broke up about three months ago and not soon enough I have a feeling he's already keeping tabs on his ex fiance again. I saw on his fb he added her grandma as a friend, and he can't add her because she has a privacy setting. Breaks my heart that like most men, he moves on like nothing ever happened. We were living together and after three months of confusion and being on and off apart because we lived together our lease ended and I have my own place. At first he said his daughter was his priority and he didnt have time to worry about anything else including me that he was moving to his home town, now he is saying he is staying in town but has been back and forth because of his job. A while back I told him i wasnt gonna talk to him anymore because it hurt me, he got mad and said fine that he would leave me alone. I was like why are you so upset you broke up with me, told me you were leaving, now you're coming back because things didn't work out, but not for me, he said if coming back told me nothing. But his actions prove the opposite. At times he says to be patient and that maybe later, but if i tell him i love him he wont say it back anymore or that i miss him he just sends a sad face....He is currently staying at a friends hosue and he doesn't really reach out to me anymore. I guess I can say I feel that its clear that he is done with me. I miss him and I had hopes of us getting back together. Anybody have something similar??
Philosoraptor Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 People run back to things that feel familiar. Oftentimes this leads them back to ex's. You're doing nothing but torturing yourself by keeping tabs on him though. 1

I had not checked on him at all, I blocked him on everything possible to avoid seeing him pop up on anything, he got mad but this was for me and my healing. And this morning I broke and checked, big mistake!! :/
