unagedtiger Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Just had a first phone conversation with this lady a few days ago and tentatively scheduled to meet up next weekend. In order to not appear needy/desperate/clingy, is it advisable to just stay silent until she initiates a conversation first? Yesterday, we had a text conversation and I had to end it to run errands. No conversation today. But trying to keep it that way to not appear needy/desperate/clingy. Thanks.
Eggplant Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I would text her once or twice throughout the course of the week saying, "Looking forward to seeing you!" or something like that. If you want more conservation, ask her how her day was, whether you can call her to chat. No need to overdo it. Keep it light and casual. On the other hand, don't be silent, or she won't be assured of your interest level. She may be waiting for you, the man, to make a move.

I guess she won't be annoyed if she really likes me?
