Just going to get to it. (Im a guy she's a girl. Just to clear that up. She's 25 Im 22)

I frequent a bar by my house I go mon-Thursday after work and stay tell closing.

Got a new bartender about 2 months ago. She works every night I go besides 1.

I create a tab Everytime. The first month was normal maybe a few drinks off the tab..

The second month she has been asking me to stay with her until she leaves. Also i am drinking about 8-10 beers every night and seen she has only been charging me for 4 This was about 4 weeks ago and persisted for about 2 more weeks.

These last 2 weeks id ask her what do i owe she replies "what you are you talking about"

Thanks in advance for opinions.

Dont get excited you are only in the friend zone. Why dont you ask her out or ask her to come over to your place afterwards? Also I would advise against falling for your local bartender just sayin. Especially if you are there multiple times a week lol.

Friend zone is fine. I have only friendship feelings towards her.

Im just trying to figure out what or why she's hooking it up . never exactly came across a scenario such as this. Thanks!

If you like her ask her to do something after work. For example, drink more slowly one night. When she gets off, ask her if she'd like to go somewhere nearby for a bite to eat.

Understand at work, it's her job to flirt with other guys. If you can't handle that, either don't start anything with her or find a new place to drink after work

well if things go belly up with her at some stage, he can find a new local or else get others to order the drinks for a while till the dust settles. I would love a sexy bartender who only charges me for every 2nd drink or even better wipes the slate. I'd get pretty chuffed over that alone.

I think he has pretty good signs to go off imo that she likes him, though it seems he is not getting all hot & bothered over her. If he only sees her as a friend then this scenario is great still. At some point though if OP keeps staying on till she leaves, she is going to get a little frustrated he is not taking the initiative and will hit him up for going out somewhere else or back to her place, if he keeps playing it cool with her. I guess he can keep getting free beers and service with a smile till that time or until the time she sees him make a move on another girl in the place.

I would say she doesn't want any evidence of having served you 8-10 beers in the event you go out and kill someone on the way home. If your tab says you had four beers, and you paid for four, well then, you must have jacked your BAC up somewhere else.

I'd also say she's an enabler.

And maybe the OP should tell her boss that she is "playing the piano"...Thats an old term we used when I worked the door at clubs. Its when the bartenders are robbing from the cash register....

Its standard practice to buy the customer a drink now and again, but she is taking it to a new level..
