the_entertainer1 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 How many dates is usual or appropriate after meeting someone before you introduce them to your friends or meet theirs?
somedude81 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I was with my ex for six months and we never met each others friends. It's just how things turned out.
mortensorchid Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 3 perhaps 4. That's my rule, unless you are at a restaurant or a bar or something and someone you know just happens to come in. Otherwise you should keep friends at a distance from the new SO. Friends can and will intimidate a SO or potential SO. The longer the better.
d0nnivain Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 It's always been sort of organic for me. I never set up a time for the new BF to meet the friends. It was usually the friends were doing something & it was appropriate for the new BF to come.
writergal Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I second the 'organic' comment. It happens when it happens. Just depends on the social plans, the group of friends, and what's on everyone's calendar at the time you and the significant other go out or stay in. Just go with the flow, and do what feels natural. You could always throw a dinner party. That's a nice friends meet n greet ice breaker.
