Hi Everyone,

 

I really need help today. I've been NC for 2 weeks and I'm very tempted to contact my ex today.

 

I know it will be a major setback of I do.

Just want to clarify that NC was really initiated by him. He stopped responding to me. I'm having a hrs time understanding why and I want answers.

So he just ended it and did not say why? Did you do something wrong? That you know of?

Long story short: We started dating 9 years ago, and have been broken up for about 4 years. We've always remained friends and recently reconnected and went in a date. After telling me he loved me and would be careful with my feelings, he dropped off. Wouldn't give me a straight answer on attending an event with me, sent me call to voice mail, said he would call back and never did, and then ignored a final text from me apologizing if he felt pressured.

 

I know that I need to back off, but it's just hard. I don't understand.

Yea if you just connected again he is probably experiencing alot of emotions. This is very difficult for men to deal with some times. Your sure he is not seeing other people right? I am making assumptions. Is there any other reason?

He ended a relationship 2 months ago. He may be seeing other girls casually, but I don't know. The bigger issue for me is why, as a friend of 9 years, would he just drop me like that? I know that's a question that no one but he can answer.
