I am glad to hear you are moving on as well. When I first divorced I thought I entered into the worst dating challenge. Some of my dates could have been segments to a reality show. I thought for sure I would never find someone again. lol

Yeah, I don't think I've found someone new yet. There is this guy I've been chatting with that I've known for years but I think he is honestly turned off by the fact that I have a child. Sigh. I was really enjoying having someone to talk to, but I swear I feel so socially awkward I don't even know what to say anymore. I've been off the dating market for so long that it feels foreign to me. I think I made every mistake in the book in talking to this guy.

 

I assume that will get better as I get my confidence back.

Things will be okay Raena. There are many men out there who will not have any issue at all with you being a mama. I was a single mama for about 9 years and never had a problem...my h has always been a father to our child that is not biologically his.

Agreed. My GF has two kids who are a handful to say the least. Give it time; the right man will embrace it.
