pinnatarr Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I was texting a guy who I work with via the internet (We live in the same city but rarely work face to face) for the last few months. We'd text about once a day for about three months. We went to the cinema together twice, and nothing happened, but we had great conversation and I really like him. The last time I saw him, we were both out with friends and we kissed, it was really nice and he acted pretty coupley with me for the rest of the night. We continued texting for a few weeks, I went on holiday, he said he was looking forward to hearing my stories when I got back, so I asked when he wanted to meet etc, and he managed to keep avoiding the question via text, but continuing the conversation with 'how are you?' etc. In the end I told him to get in touch if he decides he wants to meet up - which he hasn't. So, I obviously know that I'm more in to this guy than he is to me, but I don't want to give up on him because I really like him, but I'm not sure of the next move. Did I scare him off by keeping asking him to meet up? Did he do the whole 'oh my god she's going to want marriage and babies' thing and freak out?! Or is he just not interested? It's very unclear in my head! It's been a few weeks since we spoke, so I want to start communication again. How do I start communication and convince him I am obviously the most desirable woman in the World? Thanks! :-) x
d0nnivain Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Ask for another meet up with a specific time & place. If he blows you off, it's kind of an indirect way of saying he's not interested. If he does come, touch him casually, laugh at his jokes, wear clothes made from a touchable fabric (silk, cashmere etc.) 1
emva07 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 when you have the time to go out you should say "hey we should go to ____ on Friday night" if he's for it then by all means don't give up. If he declines just be like "ok, we will have to take a raincheck" if he never does well I'd say give up.
GemmaUK Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I would leave it where it is to be honest. You've already said for him to text if he wants to meet and he hasn't. That is what you should be focusing on - and in turn just get him off your mind completely. If he wants to come back he will but you cannot make him be interested in you. 1
