So basically I have been heartbroken for nearly 6 months and then last week surprisingly met someone new (really cant believe it!) who I really like... its been lovely! this morning I get up and somehow a friend on facebook who doesnt even know my ex has somehow ended up getting together with him socially... yup on my newsfeed I am confronted with photos of my ex and his new GF through someone that didnt even know him!.. I am so upset because I had blocked him and every one that knows him to avoid exactly this!

Right now I dont even want to speak to the new BF and the ex is back on my mind. Ive obviously stopped this persons status's and pictures from coming up on my feed from now on but its really thrown me :-( I did not want to see that... ! this world is too small sometimes... how do I get back on track? xx

I'm so sorry to hear that. FB really is terrible. Even when you did the right thing and all (blocking, filtering, etc) it always has a way of getting through.

I'd say filter off the common friend, but the damage has already been done. The best you can do is try to keep him out of your mind by focusing on other things. Don't worry though, you'll bounce back faster this time.

You cant help but feel upset. But keep dating this new guy! Don't throw this medicine away. Carry on in your new chapter in life. It's been 6 months, you've come too far to backtrack now.

ouch, I know how that feels.

Stay w/ the new guy!!! Keep the flow!!!

Remember, there's an ugly reason why you and your ex broke up. The good memories will take you down the bad ones will keep you determined. Make the right choice - control your thoughts!!
